Items and Powerups
Scattered around every map you play there are usually all kinds of little powerups that can help you to get an edge and stay alive. These items will always spawn (appear) in the same place on a map and, once they have been collected, will respawn in that place after a certain delay.

There are items that will regain you health lost when some swine shot you, armor that will help to deflect the lasers of sharpshooting cads, and a few even handier ones like quad that will help turn you into a one martian killing machine!

Quad

Well it used to be quadruple damage, but in the course of the games development it got weakened to double damage - everyone still calls it quad though. Temporarily increases the amount of damage you do, turning any weapon into a deadly rain of death.

Sproing

Makes you jump very high. You can also access this powerup using the powerups system.

Haste

Makes you move a lot faster. You'll either love this powerup for the boost it gives you, or hate it because you'll be constantly crashing into walls. This powerup can also be accessed using the powerups system.

Invulnerability

This powerup appears on very few maps but gives you the advantage from hell if you can collect it - for a brieft time you'll be immune to damage from enemy weapons. Even with this powerup though it's advisable not to fall off maps and into deep pits of lava.

Adrenaline

Restores you health to exactly 100.

Red Armor

The most powerful of the armors, gives you 100 points of armor. More than enough to help you withstand most weapons for a bit longer.

Blue Armor

Handy to grab on your travels, this baby gives you between 25 to 50 points of armor depending on how much armor you already have.

Green Armor
.
Green armor will hand you a nice 25 points worth of armor, a nice little edge when people are peppering you with shots.

Armor Shard

It might not seem much, but this little fellow gives you 2 points of armor - collect a lot of them if you can! Their great advantage is that they will let you exceed a maps maximum armor, so if the max armor you can have is 200 and you've got that, you can still increase it 2 points at a time by grabbing shards.

Health

Comes in 3 varieties and will restore some of that health you've lost when those pesky opponents have been shooting at you - Pink restores the most, then blue, then green restores the least, a minor 5 points. The green health works like an armor shard though, and will enable you to exceed your normal maximum health.

Ammo

Restores some ammunition to your weapons. Notice that there are different colored ammo pickups - that's because they are color coded, and different colors restore the ammunition for different weapons.
