Clans

Clans add another dimension to the game, they are pretty much just groups of active players who play under the same banner - clans play matches against eachother sometimes, and happily frag the hell out of eachother the rest of the time :) Most of the clans you'll find in Alien Arena aren't hugely competitive, being in a clan is really just a bit of fun that adds to the whole experience of online gaming. We don't want to smash the other clans, strive constantly to be the best, we just want fun. Nearly all clan members wear their clan tags in the names they play under - eg I'm [T3]Sinn in game - so we're easy to spot. How to join a clan The simplest answer is just to play the game, to be around in chat and the forums, show that you are playing and a decent person. Sooner or later, somebody from one of the clans will ask you. You don't have to accept the first offer, nobody will get mad at you, and you don't have to feel pressured to join a clan, tis your decision. If you check the clans section of the forums (link below) then clans will also quite often post there to say they are recruiting. Clans are very unlikely to accept anyone who hasn't been around for at least a little while so we can see how you'd fit in, so don't expect to turn up and nag your way into a clan on day one. You won't win many friends by constantly nagging to get in a clan, so if you ask and get a no, at least leave it a decent time before asking again. And no, you don't have to be a brilliant player to get in a clan. Most clans don't pick based solely upon whether you can kick everyones ass, we just want to choose a pal who it will be fun playing Alien Arena with. Then, it's down to you - recruit players (poaching from other clans is kind of frowned upon though) and organize matches.
